Pete Greig

Pete Greig is the bewildered founder of the 24-7 Prayer movement, an award-winning author of ten books, and a co-host of the much-loved daily devotional Lectio365, used by more than 400,000 people.

Pete and his wife Sammy, a professional counsellor, are proud parents to two adult sons, and Founding Pastors of Emmaus Rd church in the south of England. They mentor leaders around the world, help host the annual Wildfires Festival in the UK, and live by the Rule of The Mustard Seed Order (founded 1716).

Pete previously served as Director of Prayer for Alpha at HTB in London for eight years.

Today he is helping to revive Waverley Abbey - one of the oldest places of Christian prayer in the British Isles.

Pete’s digital resources include The Prayer Course (downloaded more than 3 million times), and the popular Aidan’s Way pilgrimage series, for which he hiked 300 miles from the Scottish island of Iona to the Holy Isle of Lindisfarne.
